Satellite Spelling Bees

A uniquely Austin event, the Great Grown-up Spelling Bee supports an important cause and has also gained a reputation for being a rowdily fun event! Senator Watson returns year after year to MC the event, sponsored by HEB, the KLE Foundation, Silicon Labs, Spansion, the Austin American-Statesman and many others.

Before the main event, we hold pre-event Satellite Bees in March and early April. These Happy Hour Bees are perfect for small offices, book clubs, alumni groups, close friends and family! Just pick your best three spellers and have the whole crew chip in, have a beer, and cheer your team to victory!
