Dear Literacy Coalition Partners,

The Coalition would like to invite you to our annual membership meeting, which will be held Tuesday, November 13th at noon at the Ruiz Branch Library, at 1600 Grove Blvd, Austin, TX 78741.  This meeting is for partner organizations who have a signed partnership agreement with the Coalition, and is intended to revisit the Coalition’s goals and our work together.

The purpose of the meeting is to approve necessary revisions to the by-laws of the LCCT, review the main goals for the Coalition for the coming two years, receive feedback on those goals and objectives, and review the leadership structure of the LCCT.  The purpose of the revisions to the by-laws is to change the LCCT from a membership organization to one that is based on partnerships.

At 12:45 the meeting will break for five minutes and reconvene for a regular LCCT Board Meeting; participants are invited to stay and observe the board meeting if they desire.

Your participation is greatly appreciated.  The Board of Directors of the LCCT and I look forward to the opportunity to meeting with all of you in person.  I will send a reminder closer to the date, but we would appreciate an RSVP as soon as possible.

Please see the attached by-laws with proposed revisions which will be discussed at the annual meeting, and RSVP to Nichole Lopez at nlopez@willread.org.

Your partnership in our work is vital, and greatly appreciated. Please always feel free to contact me with any questions!

Best Regards,

Meg
